I am enamored, inspired, and obsessed with the drama over the recent 'mainstreaming' events that lead to my personal discovery of #SEAPUNK (seapunk is a genre of art/music/fashion/90'sTrash/Retro/Computer/BlueHairTones) - - GOOGLE IMAGE SEARCH IT DUH - it's a collection of familiar looks, tones, and gifs that started out as an internet joke and has now become a lifestyle and record label (Coral Records *this is not a joke). Apparently the 'creators' of the 'movement' are all sassy and mad because those bad bitches AZ BANKS and RIRI used the aesthetic in their mainstream careers recently (since when is AZB mainstream..?) and they're pissed at em' - - These 'creators' of #seapunk just have....hurt feelings? I dunno, just keep doing what you do and move on. There is no room for anger and resentment in the PLUR community anyway. These mad tweeters, it's equal to Andy Warhol being mad that other artist started being inspired by and making their own 'PopArt' or...or Banksy being upset because others began to stencil graffiti on walls in a political way.....GOTTA JUST GET OVER IT. It's all ART and art is magic. It's a style, a feeling, a mindset - I love it all, and I was inspired to create these collages/worlds/realms/spells/demons with some QUEER/DRAG/SEAPUNKED REALNESS.

The lyrics are solid and deep if you're not busy twerking too hard to listen. She reps Harlem hard, and I love a girl who loves her some New York City. The gays are gonna' go wild for FIERCE, the hipsters will get wasted and dance, clubs will remix the shit out of this for years to come, I can't wait. New York City artist TY, wearing his signature CLOUDZbyTY sunglasses with the queen of nightlife couture, Amanda Lepore. 

Dancing my heart away last night at XL in New York City when I noticed the beautiful glow of Amanda Lepore at the bar. Her red lips shining like a bloody beacon of plastic pleasure. I went over and introduced myself, telling her how much of a long-time fan I am of her career and what a special moment it was to be meeting such an exotic nightlife legend. I told her “I knew this day would happen, I’ve been hoping for 2 years that I would run into you or at least see you at some point in New York City – I knew who you were when I was younger and living in Texas and I’m honestly thrilled to be meeting you.” She was so appreciative of my words and thanked me for taking the time to tell her. She was more than willing to take a picture with me and give me a big smack on the cheek. I love Amanda for her years of devotion to human artistry through surgery, photography and fashion – breaking every rule and boundary there ever was about political correctness or "right & wrong" because at the end of the day, I don't know much about clothes but my hair looks fierce.

Thanks Amanda, I can't wait to work with you one day.
